Great hospitality is very important in the Landgasthaus Gut Ahe. Attentive, very friendly staff embellished the stay. The exquisite menu from hearty to delicate fits the overall picture in wonderful nature. From hikers or cyclists, whether hotel guests or just for coffee and delicious cake, everyone will find something suitable here. Unreserved recommendation.

NOT EVEN EARNED 1 STAR! We recently had a wedding here. I don `t know where to start... Most shocking were the owners or the junior boss (without wanting to get personal). Quarrelsome and zero accommodating or sensitive. Isn't it also the job of the owner of a location to make the day perfect for the bridal couple? Your behavior has shown the opposite. So impersonal. You still need training to learn how to deal with guests! One day before the wedding, the bridal couple's decorative elements were locked in !!! It was said that due to the weather we are not allowed to make a fire. We all took note of this after the bridal couple informed us. Nevertheless, decorative elements may be allowed without being lit ?! And even if that hadn't been wanted for no reason, the bride and groom should have been given the opportunity to put their property away themselves. Where does something exist? But no, the junior boss acted as such and simply locked up the property of others and no longer made them available! Then the wedding ceremony was also carried out there and she runs screaming across the yard to delegate drivers ?! Everyone knew that it would not be 100% silent, but this wrongdoing is unforgivable. Then it was said that the menu should not do anything other than their own kitchen, otherwise they would get a bad reputation. They get their bad reputation from their own misconduct, poor organization, arrogance, unfriendliness and, not to forget, the not really good food. Well, that's probably a matter of opinion! BUT ... they ordered extra lactose-free food. The signs were placed incorrectly (fatal for allergy sufferers), nothing could be assigned correctly. The staff was snotty and not informed! Corkage was charged that was not discussed in advance. Then it was said that there would be a wedding the next day, which is why everything had to be tidied up by 10 a.m. On the same day we all set the alarm clock and tackled and then there was no wedding at all, it was suddenly said! We didn't even have time for breakfast - which is what the house deserves! Where do you get that? Where's the business acumen? Furthermore, the beverages were ordered by the bride and groom through a supplier. When the beer threatened to run out, the bride's father asked for the price of a keg. Only 350 €! Cheek! The beverage trade paid € 200 per barrel. That's not how you do business and no money either! And in times of Corona, when everyone is fighting for survival, showing such arrogance is inexplicable, let alone excused. The next day, since no one had time to have breakfast, as we absolutely had to clear everything up immediately, we ordered 2 pots of coffee. Not only that they tasted bitter as if the machine had been cleaned with vinegar beforehand, no ... these 2 jugs cost € 58.00 and were on the bill of the bride and groom! 58.00 € for 2 pots of coffee ????? I could go on and write like this forever! I am shocked and appalled. NEVER would any of the guests visit this restaurant again. NO GUEST had a good word to say. The wedding was only dreamlike because we made it a dream wedding, but no bride and groom would want to deal with the location in this way shortly before, during or after the wedding! And the rooms / apartment are getting old and unclean. There was so much dust behind the bedside tables. The corners have probably never seen any cleaning staff. None of this should be hostility, no argument. Only honest feedback that the location should really take to heart! Friendliness doesn't cost any money. Too bad. The location could do more - but you probably don't want to!

The meal "cabbage rolls with boiled potatoes, Wirsching vegetables" was excellent. The service was very friendly and brisk! The location is a bit out of the way, but very, very beautiful! We will come back !

Stayed here for 3 nights. At the moment the rooms are not being cleaned and no new towels are given. Due to the late hours (from 0830) I couldn't enjoy breakfast. I still had to pay for it. In the evening mostly only 1 service, very long waiting times. Room and bathroom very outdated. Food was good. Will not come back again.

We took a break here on a motorcycle tour. We will definitely come again!

How nice that we discovered the somewhat remote country inn on our trip yesterday! The location is beautiful and you can eat really well here! The service was very friendly and courteous. Thanks to the weather, we could sit outside in the sun and enjoy nature. :) Since you can probably also rent e-bikes here, we will definitely come back for a bike tour. :)

Went back to Gut Ahe today, sat outside, had an excellent meal (the Angus burger was sensational) and once again had a very nice time. Thanks to the whole team ... see you soon!

Nice country hotel in a dream location. Family run, friendly service. Large rooms with parquet floors, clean bathrooms. Parking in front of the door. To mention is the delicious home-baked cake and the very excellent Westphalian ham sandwich, because you can every Parma ham for stand!

Very nice staff Beautiful landscape Good to relax Beds were too soft for us I wish there were new beds. Mattresses looked new Another nice thing is a bathing pond to cool off. There was also a very nice foot basin There were still lying a bit too old but ok
